No. Luau works great on the web. But the experience for hosts is much smoother in the native app, and we’re adding iOS features soon that can only be done natively — like location-based check-in and informal event beacons.
Do guests need the app to RSVP?+
Never. Guests can RSVP straight from a link to your event — no download, no account hurdles, no app required.
How much is it?+
Just like the web app, Luau is free to use. Advanced features in our upcoming Luau+ subscription will unlock AI capabilities like Social Sparks™, but core Luau is free on both web and the native iOS app.
