# Luau

> Luau is an AI-powered party planner and relationship builder for casual get-togethers. Our AI agent, Kai, helps put your social life on autopilot and surfaces opportunities for deeper, more meaningful connection.

Luau is built by Luau Digital, Ltd. in Birmingham, AL, founded Q4 2024 by Joshua Gilmer. We make it easier for working parents and professionals (ages 26–50) to host the small, recurring gatherings — birthday parties, playdates, family hangouts — that keep relationships alive.

## What Luau does

- Generates invite pages from a short prompt — no Canva, no long forms.
- Wrangles RSVPs and answers guest questions through Kai, our AI event concierge.
- Surfaces social sparks: who you haven't seen, when to reach out, what to plan.
- Sends host text blasts, weather alerts, gift registry suggestions, and more.
